Welcome to the Maier Museum of Art Online Collection Catalog

This catalog contains records for over 600 accessioned works belonging to the permanent collection of the Maier Museum of Art in Lynchburg, Virginia. In total, the Museum administers over 3,400 works of art. The project to make the permanent collection accessible to researchers online began with a two-year effort, 2001-2003, involving the reconciliation of over 95 years worth of paper records.

Work to place records for the whole collection online is continuous. Since this is a work in progress, researchers should anticipate that information will be up-dated continuously. There may be errors in this online catalog. The Museum staff makes corrections as needed. Please send questions or comments to museum@randolphcollege.edu.
